The individual 16V PD injector bridge contains the mechanical stabilisation solution. The complete set adds the 16V PD injector fitting kit and four reinforced 16V VITON seal kits. The Ultimate Set also includes an ORIGINAL VW wiring harness whose plastic rail 07eins has already shortened for use with the 16V PD injector bridge. This allows you to choose the kit contents to suit your planned work.

The reinforced 07eins VITON seals combine a larger cross-sectional diameter with a lower Shore hardness. This allows them to fill the seal groove and achieve a larger contact area without relying solely on harder material. VITON belongs to the fluoroelastomers, also known as FKM or FPM, which are resistant to fuel, oil and high temperatures. Choose the seal kit that matches the type of PDE fitted; a separate version is available for compatible 16V BOSCH PDEs.

New seals may once again be subjected to unfavourable loads if the PD injector continues to migrate within the cylinder head or if the seat has already been worn in. In such cases, the repair should also take into account the mechanical stability and the condition of the seating surfaces. The 07eins PD injector bridges and the 07eins PD injector retainers provide the best stabilisation and fixation of the PD injectors in combination with new seals.

The wiring harness establishes the electrical connection to the unit injectors inside the engine. If the engine has already been opened for a PD injector overhaul or bridge installation, it makes sense to carry out its replacement in conjunction with this work. The Ultimate Set therefore bundles it with the mechanical repair kit.

To ensure that the ORIGINAL VW wiring harness can be combined with the 16V PD injector bridge, its plastic rail must be shortened to allow sufficient space. 07eins takes care of this preparation for you as part of the Ultimate Set.

After the PDEs have been removed and re-centred, new seals provide an undeformed basis for sealing. Old rings may have hardened or been compressed unevenly due to ageing and one-sided loading. Therefore, replacing the appropriate seal kits is an essential part of a thorough PD injector repair.

If diesel has entered the engine oil, the contaminated oil should be replaced once the cause has been rectified. This ensures the repaired engine is restarted with suitable engine oil. The workshop will tailor the oil change and any further checks to the findings of the repair.

When unit injectors are removed, inspected or re-stabilised, it is advisable to replace the appropriate seals at the same time. Particularly with cylinder heads with wear at the unit injector seats, the use of reinforced VITON seals is recommended over standard PD injector seals. This applies, for example, to PD injector repairs, engine overhauls or the fitting of PD injector bridges or PD injector retainers. For compatible 16V BOSCH PDEs, the 16V version designed for this purpose should be selected.

With the service kit, you can plan your maintenance using a single reference point for the filters it contains. You save time searching for parts and have the main filters as well as the magnetic oil drain plug to hand for servicing. Engine oil, intake air and diesel fuel fulfil different functions; the cabin air filter complements the maintenance of the ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

The standard 16V PD injector fitting kit contains standard BOSCH gasket sets or repair kits. The reinforced 07eins 16V VITON gasket sets are also included in the Complete Set and the Ultimate Set: four gasket sets in each, each containing 2 sealing rings for the four PDEs.

The 2.0 TDI 16V has four cylinders and four unit injectors. Therefore, each of the two sets contains four reinforced 16V VITON gasket sets, each comprising two sealing rings: one gasket set per PD injector.

A tailored repair combines the appropriate mechanical reinforcement with new unit injector seals and the specified new bolts. As part of this, the PD injectors and seating surfaces are inspected; where necessary, repairs to the PD injectors are also carried out. The complete sets from 07eins bundle suitable components; reinforced VITON seals are included depending on the set. If the engine has already been opened, the appropriate ORIGINAL VW wiring harness can also be replaced during the same operation. The exact scope of work will depend on the findings and the instructions for your engine.

The PDE wiring harness provides the electrical connection to the unit injectors and enables their actuation. If there are contact problems, a new compatible wiring harness can renew the electrical connection.

The PD injector seal set contains the seals that need to be replaced when removing and fitting the PD elements, as well as a new tappet. The quantity depends on your selection.

Choose the version for the number of cylinders in your engine. The product page lists installation kits for 3, 4, 5 and 10 cylinders, with corresponding quantities of bolts, seals and tappet components.

The set includes a diesel filter, air filter, oil filter, cabin filter and a magnetic oil drain plug with a new sealing ring. Before ordering, check the diesel filter version fitted to your vehicle using its reference number, design and connections.

No. The magnet captures magnetisable particles, particularly iron and steel wear debris. The oil drain plug supplements regular oil filtration; the oil filter is still required.

The kit contains 20 HELICOIL® plus thread inserts for M6 in each of the lengths 6, 9 and 12 mm, plus a twist drill, HSS hand tap, installation mandrel and tang break-off tool in a plastic case.
