These symptoms may indicate shifting or leaking PDEs
Many TDI drivers initially look for the symptoms rather than a PDE bridge: poor starting, jerking, loss of power, diesel in the oil, or rising oil level. These are precisely the signs that can occur in the VW T5 2.5 TDI when the pump-nozzle elements no longer sit properly in the cylinder head, move slightly, or the seals no longer seal reliably.
Starting problems when cold or warm
