07eins ’s Performance Fuel Supply Kit (PFS Kit) Universal has been developed to prevent the fuel lines to the cylinder head from running dry when the engine is switched off. The universal version is designed for custom connection to the relevant fuel lines — ideal for bespoke applications outside the vehicle-specific VW T5 versions.

In many diesel engines, starting problems can occur after prolonged periods of inactivity if fuel flows back from the lines or if sufficient fuel is not immediately available in the cylinder head area. The engine cranks for longer, starts more erratically and is subjected to greater stress during the starting process.

Many drivers do not initially look for a fuel valve control unit, but rather for the symptoms: poor starting, prolonged cranking, rough engine running after starting, or diesel in the oil. These are precisely the problems that can arise if a stable fuel supply is not immediately available at start-up.
Prolonged stalling after periods of inactivity
The engine revs for a long time before it starts. This is particularly noticeable after a long period of inactivity, overnight or after several hours of standstill.
Poor cold start

Rough engine running immediately after starting

Work on the fuel system should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Fuel lines, connection orientation, leaks, material compatibility and secure fastening must be carefully checked before commissioning.
