The 07eins 16V overhaul screw set contains the relevant screws and washers included with the ORIGINAL 07eins 16V PD injector bridge. It is intended for use when the 16V PD injector bridge has been removed as part of a PDE overhaul, diagnostic check, cylinder head opening, or reassembly, and is to be properly reinstalled with new screws.
For reassembly after disassembly of the 16V PD injector bridge New 07eins 16V PDE injector bolts M6 × 95, M6, M4, and M8 bolts, as well as M8 washers for a secure reinstallation.

Why a replacement screw set?
If the 16V PD injector bridge has been removed, the mounting screws should be replaced.
When working on the unit injector assemblies, it may be necessary to remove the 07eins 16V PD injector bridge again. This can be the case, for example, during a PDE overhaul, when inspecting or servicing the PDEs, when resealing, or when working on the cylinder head.
After removal, the bridge should not simply be reattached using used bolts. Bolts that have already been installed, loaded, or tightened may lose their original installation and preload integrity. This applies particularly to expansion bolts and safety-critical bolted connections in the area of the unit injector assemblies.

The 07eins 16V Overhaul Screw Set provides the necessary screw components required for reassembling the 16V PD injector bridge. This allows the bridge to be secured again with new, compatible screws after an overhaul or disassembly.
For Reassembly After PDE Overhaul If the unit injector assemblies are inspected, overhauled, or resealed, the 16V PD injector bridge may need to be disassembled and then reassembled.
New Screws Instead of Reusing Old Ones Old or previously tightened screws should not be reused. The overhaul kit provides the appropriate replacement components for this purpose.

Installation Note
The 07eins 16V PDE injector screws must be used.
To install the 16V PD injector bridge, use the 8 × 07eins 16V PDE injector bolts (M6 × 95) included in the replacement bolt set.
These bolts are longer than the factory-installed injector bolts and are designed to accommodate the additional component geometry of the 16V PD injector bridge. The standard bolts must not be reused in this location.
When reinstalling the 16V PD injector bridge after disassembly, PDE overhaul, or cylinder head removal, used bolts should never be reused. Use new, appropriate bolts and follow the relevant installation instructions.

No adjustment shims
The 0.5-mm shims for adjustment and preload are not included in this set.
No mounting or gasket set
BOSCH gasket kits, VITON gasket kits, rocker arm screws, or threadlocker are not included.
Why use new screws?
Used screws should not be reused.
Screws in the area of the unit injector assemblies and the 16V PD injector bridge perform safety- and function-critical tasks. After initial tightening, they may be subject to mechanical stress, stretched, or have their clamping force altered.
Do not reuse expansion bolts Expansion bolts that have already been used should be replaced with new ones after disassembly.
Specified installation conditions New screws provide a better foundation for proper reinstallation.
Protection of repair work If the engine has already been opened, reinstallation should not be compromised by used screws.

To install the 16V PD injector bridge, the 8 × 07eins 16V PDE injector screws (M6 × 95) included in this kit must be used. Stock injector screws or screws that are too short must not be reused for this application.
When working on unit injector assemblies, the cylinder head, sealing surfaces, or PD injector bridge, the respective installation specifications, torque values, inspection steps, and technical requirements must be observed.
Any resulting installation costs, disassembly costs, consumables, diagnostic costs, and other associated costs are always the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed.

Is this the complete 16V PD injector bridge?
No. The overhaul screw set contains only the listed screws and washers. The aluminum connecting strip, heat-treated steel brackets, and adjustment plates are not included.
Why shouldn’t old bolts be reused?
