What is a PDE bridge?
The PDE bridge prevents the factory-induced and design-related movement of the PDE injectors and secures the PDE injectors (injectors) so that they return to their original position and can no longer move due to engine vibrations or wear into the cylinder head. The sealing rings remain in their intended position and can seal perfectly again.
The original PDE bridge, developed by 07eins back in 2015 and installed in thousands of vehicles since then—a now proven solution for repairing damaged cylinder heads, as well as for preventing damage to the injector seal seats that could compromise functionality
. Installation requires no modifications to the cylinder head or attached components.
Our modular, utility model-protected system ensures trouble-free installation and removal through the use of individual components, as well as the tolerance compensation between the individual injectors necessary for even pressure distribution, thanks to the flexible connecting bar made of a special aluminum alloy.
Our PDE bridge consists of a carefully balanced combination of high-quality aluminum and tool steel for tension-free mounting of the PDEs, making it superior to one-piece PDE bridges made of tool steel. In many cases, replacing the damaged cylinder head is no longer necessary, as the newly centered PDE can reseal even in damaged sealing surfaces (further details can be found in the“Pump-Nozzle Remedy” section).
Effectiveness depends largely on the condition and existing damage to the seating surfaces; in cases of visibly deep scoring, a repair can be attempted in combination with our reinforced Viton sealing rings.

Reinforced VITON gasket rings in combination with our original PDE bridge also help in the event of severe run-in marks in the cylinder head: thanks to their larger diameter than the standard gasket rings, they keep the cylinder head tight again, while the PDE bridge fixes the PDEs in place and prevents them from working their way back into the cylinder head.

Early use of the products can have a positive influence on the service life of the cylinder head and limit the effects of damage that has already occurred. However, our products are not able to compensate for excessive running-in marks and damage to the sealing surfaces. Any assembly/disassembly costs incurred as a result of use, consumables and follow-up costs are always the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed by Pumpe-Düse-Abhilfe.
