The 16V PD injector bridge from 07eins was developed for compatible 2.0 TDI 16V unit injector engines with Bosch PDEs. It reduces the movement of the injectors in the cylinder head and improves the mechanical operating conditions of the unit injector seals.
Thermally matched to the aluminum cylinder head and securely bolted to the cylinder head.
High local strength directly at the loaded retaining and clamping areas of the PDE.
Adjustment plates allow for individual adjustment and defined preload.
This technical solution is protected by the 07eins utility model DE 20 2026 100 196 U1.
When unit injector seals start leaking again.
Poor cold starts, rough idling, diesel in the oil, or wear marks on the PDE seat can occur when the unit injector is operating in the cylinder head.
In this case, it’s not just the seal that matters. The key factor is whether the PDE remains mechanically stable in its position.
Additional mechanical stabilization.
The 16V PD injector bridge stabilizes the Bosch PDEs directly on the housing and transfers the forces acting on them to the cylinder head via a firmly bolted aluminum connecting bar.
This reduces movement at the PDE seat, rather than simply replacing the gasket.

The 16V PD injector bridge combines two proven 07eins core concepts: the thermally efficient aluminum structure of the PD injector bridge and the direct injector connection of the PD injector retainer.
Don’t just seal it. Stabilize the root cause.
With unit injector engines, simply installing new seals is often not enough. When the common-rail unit operates in its seat, even new seals are subjected to mechanical stress again.
That’s why 07eins 16V PD injector bridge addresses the movement itself: The unit injector is stabilized against the housing, the forces are transferred to the cylinder head via the aluminum connecting bar, and tolerances are compensated for using adjustment plates.
PDE numbers help with compatibility checks.
By checking the OE and Bosch numbers of the unit injector assemblies installed in the engine, you can verify whether the PDE design generally falls within the application range of the 16V PD injector bridge.
The following numbers refer to the installed Bosch unit injector or the unit injector injector. They are not part numbers for the 16V PD injector bridge, but are used to identify the appropriate PDE variant.
The specific PDE version actually installed in the vehicle is decisive. The engine code letter, PDE number, and vehicle data should be checked together before ordering.

These vehicle models are suitable for use with the 16V PD injector bridge, provided that a compatible 2.0 TDI 16V unit injector engine with Bosch PDEs is installed.
The relevant engine codes are AZV, BKD, BLB, BNA, BRE, BVF, BVG, and BRF. Common-rail engines, 8V PDE versions, and Siemens/piezo PDEs are not compatible.

To install the 16V PD injector bridge, use the supplied 8 × 07eins 16V PDE injector screws M6 × 95.
These bolts are longer than the factory-installed injector bolts and are designed to accommodate the additional component geometry of the 16V PD injector bridge. The standard bolts must not be reused in this location.

Aluminum is better suited to the thermal behavior of the aluminum cylinder head. quenched and tempered steel is used where high local clamping force and dimensional stability are required.
