Der 07eins diesel filter performs the following functions:

• Parkel filtration: Contaminants such as dirt, water, rust and other particles are removed from the diesel fuel. Particles that are not removed cause long-term damage to the fuel injection systems and the engine.

• Water separation by means of integrated water separation: Waterwater accumulates in the diesel fuel during the course of operation due to condensation or impurities. The diesel filter separates the water from the fuel and collects it in a separate area, which can then be drained using a water drain plug.

• Extending the service life of fuel injection components: By removing particles and contaminants, the diesel filter protects the sensitive components of the fuel injection system, such as pump-nozzle elements in particular, from damage. Clean fuel enables smooth combustion and contributes to the longevity of the engine.

A dirty diesel filter impairs fuel flow and leads to loss of power, poorer fuel efficiency, poor starting and potential damage to the fuel system. We recommend replacing the diesel filter at every service.
