The connecting bar is bolted to the cylinder head, and the brackets engage directly with the PDE housing. Adjustment plates allow for tolerance compensation and defined preload.

Identifying Typical PDE Problems

Installation Note
The 07eins 16V PDE injector screws must be used.
To install the 16V PD injector bridge, use the 8 × 07eins 16V PDE injector screws M6 × 95 included in the package.
These bolts are longer than the factory-installed injector bolts and are designed to accommodate the additional component geometry of the 16V PD injector bridge. The standard bolts must not be reused in this location.
Use the threadlocker included in the installation kit only for screws intended for installing the PD injector bridge or the corresponding 07eins mounting elements.

With unit injector engines, simply installing new seals is often not enough. When the common-rail unit operates in its seat, even new seals are subjected to mechanical stress again.
