What is a PD injector bridge?
The PD injector bridge prevents factory-induced and design-related movement of the PD injectors and secures the PD injectors (injectors) so that they return to their original position and can no longer shift due to engine vibrations, nor can they wear into the cylinder head. The sealing rings remain in their intended position and can seal perfectly once again.
The original PD injector bridge, developed back in 2015 by 07eins and installed in thousands of vehicles since then – a method that has now proven its worth for repairing damaged cylinder heads, as well as for preventing damage to the injector seal seats that could compromise functionality
Installation requires no modifications whatsoever to the cylinder head or associated components.
Our modular, utility model-protected system ensures trouble-free assembly and disassembly through the use of individual components, as well as the tolerance compensation required between the individual injectors for even pressure distribution, thanks to the flexible connecting strip made from a special aluminium alloy.
Our PD injector bridge consists of a carefully balanced combination of high-quality aluminium and quenched and tempered steel for tension-free fixing of the PD injector, making it superior to one-piece PD injector bridges made from tool steel. In many cases, it is no longer necessary to replace the damaged cylinder head, as the newly centred PD injectors can reseal even in damaged sealing surfaces (further details can be found in the section "Unit Injector Workaround").
Effectiveness depends largely on the condition and any pre-existing damage to the seating surfaces; in the case of visibly deep running-in marks, a repair can be carried out in combination with our reinforced Viton sealing rings be tried.

Reinforced VITON gasket rings in combination with our original PDE bridge also help in the event of severe run-in marks in the cylinder head: thanks to their larger diameter than the standard gasket rings, they keep the cylinder head tight again, while the PDE bridge fixes the PDEs in place and prevents them from working their way back into the cylinder head.

All products from 07eins / engine (pump-nozzle remedy) are designed to minimize the effects of existing factory design defects on the engines concerned or to reduce their symptoms. Early use of the products can have a positive influence on the service life of the cylinder head and limit the effects of damage that has already occurred. However, our products are not able to compensate for excessive running-in marks and damage to the sealing surfaces. Any assembly/disassembly costs incurred as a result of use, consumables and follow-up costs are always the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed by Pumpe-Düse-Abhilfe.
