Performance Fuel Supply Kit

Choose the VW T5 version if you are looking for a pre-assembled solution for a compatible VW T5 1.9 or 2.5 TDI. The fuel filter version with two or four connections determines which variant you need. The universal version is intended for you to connect to the respective fuel lines yourself. Both versions are designed to prevent the fuel lines to the cylinder head from draining after the engine is switched off.

For the VW T5 2.5 TDI (all engine code letters), the PD injector bridge is a product option for additional stabilisation of the PD injectors. PD injector retainers stabilise the individual PD injectors and, depending on the engine, are available as matching sets for 3-, 4-, 5- or 10-cylinder engines. For compatible 2.0 TDI 16V models with BOSCH PD injectors, there is a dedicated 16V PD injector bridge. The PFS kit takes a different approach: it is designed to prevent the fuel lines from running dry after the engine is switched off. The Universal PFS Kit is intended for garages, technically-savvy users and bespoke installations where no suitable pre-assembled version with vehicle-specific quick-connect fittings is used. The connection is adapted to the existing fuel lines. The specific route of the lines and the correct connection are therefore key factors in the selection process.

For this start-up behaviour, it is worth checking whether the fuel lines drain after the engine has been switched off or whether the seal in the PD injector area is compromised. The PFS kit addresses the issue of fuel lines running dry; the PD injector bridge or PD injector retainer addresses the additional stabilisation of suitable PD injectors. The appropriate approach depends on the identified cause.
