Oil pan with dual-fin heat exchanger principle.
More thermal reserve for sporty driving and motorsport - thanks to optimized oil cooling by means of a design that guides the oil flow on the inside via fins (longer dwell time) and dissipates heat on the outside via fins in the airstream. Additional oil cooling without interfering with the oil circuit - without pipes. Plus 2nd drain plug at the low point for cleaner oil draining.
Designed to fit Porsche 996 / 997 / 986 / 987 (incl. Cabrio, Targa, Boxster, Cayman) with M96 or M97 engine. Simple replacement of the original oil pan with the COREFLOW HX oil pan.

Why COREFLOW HX oil pan?
Problem: The oil temperature in the Porsche 996 - 997 - 986 - 987 depends heavily on the cooling water level, because the M96 and M97 engines conduct the oil temperature via an oil-to-water heat exchanger, among other things. When the cooling water temperature rises (motorsport, traffic jams, summer, track, uphill), the oil temperature rises. with.
