What is a PDE bridge?

The PDE bridge prevents the PDE injection nozzles from moving as a result of the factory and design and fixes the PDE injection nozzles (injectors) so that they return to their original position and can no longer move due to engine vibrations and can no longer work their way into the cylinder head. The sealing rings remain in their target position and can seal perfectly again.

The original PDE bridge, developed by 07eins back in 2015 and installed in thousands of vehicles since then - now a tried-and-tested means of repairing damaged cylinder heads and preventing damage to the injector sealing seats that could jeopardize their function

Installation is carried out without any modifications to the cylinder head or add-on parts.

Our modular, utility model-protected system ensures problem-free assembly and disassembly through the use of individual components, as well as the tolerance compensation of the individual injectors to each other necessary for uniform pressure distribution, thanks to the flexible connecting strip made of special aluminum alloy.

Our PDE bridge consists of a coordinated combination of high-quality aluminum and tool steel for tension-free fixing of the PDE and is therefore more advantageous than one-piece PDE bridges made of tool steel. In a large number of cases, it is no longer necessary to replace the damaged cylinder head, as the newly centered PDE can also seal again in damaged sealing surfaces (further details can be found in the "Pump-nozzle remedy" section).

The effectiveness depends largely on the condition and the existing previous damage to the seating surfaces; if the run-in marks are noticeably deep, a repair can be attempted in combination with our reinforced Viton sealing rings.
